I'm a home Child Care provider-Can I claim my Car pymt or Insurance when filing taxes?

Question: Any Tax Professionals out there? I'm a home child care provider, doing my own taxes. I use my vehicle for personal & business use. I claim business miles on my taxes. Can I claim a percentage of my Car Payment or Car Insurance when filing taxes? If so- Where do I list it? Also, Any Internet Sites with Specifics on this Topic would be appreciated.

Answer: Business use of your car is covered by the standard mileage amount or by claiming actual expenses. The standard amount includes amounts for depreciation (the cost of the car) and insurance. Irs pub 463.

Please list all ideas for cutting back and saving tons of money?

Question: So far, I have done this... 1-Dropped to a slower internet service 2-Took a lower cable 3-Switch car insurance. Please list as many ideas as possible. I need to cut back, but not deprive my family either.

Answer: When you go out take only the amount of money that you know you will need. This stops those impulse buys. In an emergence ATMs are always open or a friend will lend you cash.

What expenses should I consider when moving out of my parent's house?

Question: My list so far is: rent, utilities, internet, car insurance and gas, parking, food, household items am i forgetting anything? ive been bumming around for quite awhile now.

Answer: Living isn't on there. Going out, movies, everyday expense.
