Can't get insurance because of High Risk?

Question: 18, Male, living in Toronto, Ontario No Accidents Completed Driving School License GM2 2 Speeding Tickets: 16km Over, 66km Over (Major) All the insurance companies that I've called and will take me as a primary driver want $10,000+ a year for pretty much any type of car. My parents insurance company (ING) won't take me as 2nd driver because I'm classified as "High Risk" Any suggestions on a way around this? I want to purchase a car but the problem is can't find a way to get insurance! Positive comments and suggestions are appreciated!

Answer: Nope there's nothing you can do. Seeing the speeding ticket with 66km over the limit would scare ANY insurance company, especially when you're practically a new driver. They absolutely hate people who have pretty much shown that they have a love for speed. You can either pay the extremely high insurance quote, or don't get a car. Obviously there are no other options here. The thing is after years of paying that ridiculous amount and if you don't have more speeding tickets or violations etc, your insurance price will gradually go down (ever so slowly).

at fault accident please reply ASAP?

Question: insurance company so here is the scenario my dad had an at fault accident 6 months ago and he is listed as the primary driver and after two months i got in to an at fault accident now our insurance company cancelled our insurance due to being at high risk. i live in toronto canada is there any cheap insurance company that we can get our insurance from? also i had an speeding ticket of going 20km above possible speed which its court date is in summer. would the new insurance find out about my speeding ticket before my court date???

Answer: Your best bet is to go to an insurance broker that works with a lot of difference companies and see who has the most competitive rates for people with your driving profile. I will tell you, with two at fault accidents over six months, it's going to be expensive regardless. be careful about reporting the ticket. If the company finds out that you withheld this information during the application process, they could drop you.
