I need a list of car insurance companies in the usa?

Question: I need a list of all (or as many as possible) car insurance companies in the united states. I need the names and phone numbers and more info on them if possible. Thanks ! I am not looking for a quote for myself. I am making a website that provides resources for car salespeople and they always need phone numbers for auto insurance companies to have id cards faxed over because customers never have anything they need. I figure there may be a list somewhere online with them all on. Chill out LT you don't have to do anything you don't want to :)

These http://gsx1.com/Car-Insurance/100.php are different people connected to another lot. So nowadays you just get to fill in two quotes and about 30 insurers are compared. Less and less people are using phones to contact them too. Would you use a phone or save $175 a year? The choice is yours but more and more people are avoiding the useless middle man and just dealing with the insurer themselves..... via the sites.

Moving to the USA will the car insurance company know my history?

Question: I live in Canada and have a couple speeding tickets (GASP!) and I bumped into the back of somebody in the snow, all I did was put a little crack in my bumper and not a scratch on theirs, with no claims made the insurance company still saw fit to hike up my rates. I have been thinking of moving to Florida for a while, (I hate snow) and I was wondering if my tickets and accident are going to follow me down there?

Insurance companies that cover the SMART car in the USA?

Question: I am in the market for a car and found the SMART car, it hasnt come over the pond yet, but im really interested in purchasing it when it does. a few things first im a first time driver. is this a good car for a first time driver. second anyone drive the smart car any pointers like are you happy with it, ect and third in teh USA does anyone know if any insurance companies will cover a first time driver with a SMART car. thanks a bunch

Answer: I've seen this smart car and i too am considering it. I should think the big ins cos will cover it provided it meets all the safety standards in the U.S. There's been little to no hype about this car in the U.S. I am waiting for a complete review by Edmunds.com. As far as it being a good car for a first time driver, I should think so. Good luck.

for USA: If i got hurt in a car accident, will my heath insurance cover the expenses? or the car insurance?

Question: I am an international student studying in NJ. It is mandotory for all students to have heath insurance so i got one. I recenty bought a car from NJ. I m looking for insurance prices now. I m confused about that issue! In my country (cyprus) car insurance companies only pay for your damages to cars or environment. Your health insurance cover the medical expenses. I think it is different in here USA...

Answer: In the US it depends on the wording of the insurance contract as to who pays first. You should contact both insurance companies and file claims. They will work it out between them as to who pays. If youi dont have auto insurance, your health insurance should pay for your injuries.
